Verjuice detects your machine and your game, then launches through the right existing backend — Proton/umu on Linux, Wine with DXMT, DXVK and MoltenVK on macOS. It wraps Wine, Proton and Whisky; it does not reimplement any of them. If a launch fails, it diagnoses the real log, applies a recorded, sourced fix, and relaunches — or tells you plainly why it cannot run here.
Free for personal use. No telemetry — nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask for it (an update check, a component install, an optional account) — see exactly what is sent and what stays on your machine.
The game launches through the right backend, with the per-title configuration already applied.
A crash in the startup window is diagnosed against a sourced signature table; a recorded fix is applied and the game relaunches (at most twice).
An honest, cited refusal — for example, a kernel-level anti-cheat the vendor does not permit. Never a fix attempt, never a guess.
